Is Notch pulling the plug on Minecraft Classic? What is going on... Whole thing has messed up for what seems like a week.
Seems like I can only connect when the moon and stars are in perfect alignment...

Notch has been moving servers for Minecraft.net and although I would seem it would be done by now, apparently it isn't as beta servers are also affected. We are trying our best with what we have ATM. Please be patient and persistant

Actually it's Tobias (@mollstam on twitter) who's doing all the fixing. Notch is on vacation, and he doesn't do server side stuff, that's Tobias' job, and his job alone.
